SOUNDS OF SACRED PLACES - SIGNATURE SOUNDS BY PSYCHIC MEDIUM DORI ALSOP PADEN

	From February of 1990 thru September of 2002, I made pilgrimages to sacred sites thru both the United States and much of the world. As of this writing, I have seen Egypt, Venezuela, Israel, Jordan, Syria, Japan, China, Mongolia, Russia, Thailand, Bhutan, and Scotland outside the US, and had made many trips within the US; although most of those US sites were in the Upper Midwest (Minnesota, South Dakota), I also hiked and camped in the Redwoods, and made an 'emergency' trip to New York City a few days after the planes were running again in September 2001.
	Since 1966, I have been able to 'hear' and 'feel' the essences of what most people think are non-sentient. My experience began with the mountains of Arizona, but later spread into other nonhuman sentient forms, such as trees and lakes. These sentient beings 'talk' all the time. I would consider myself a bit of a nut case if I said they spoke to just me - they speak to everyone, and anyone can hear what they say if they have the ability to listen. Listening may be just a feeling - the mountains often throw 'pictures' of their entire geologic history - past present and future. I have yet to add words to that feeling myself. But other communications can be translated.
	In 1977, after reading the first Seth books that came out, I learned that I could turn on a 'channel' in my brain and odd poetic, multidimensional words would come into my head, which I then wrote down on paper. Later, I learned that I could use this 'channel' to pick up the 'pictures' from sentient beings, both physical and nonhuman, and nonphysical, and write down their 'words.' From 1993 on, I brought along a notepad, and would write down comments from the various energies I ran into in the various states and countries I visited. In the summer 1994, I had an invitation from the California Redwoods to come back and 'interview' them individually, which I did in the November of 1994. The results of those communications are still pending publication.
	Also in 1977, I learned I could sing and speak the EKtavasi, like Jane Robert's Sumari, but more energetic. For many years, I dared not sing publicly, because my mentors warned me that until I gained balance with the energy, I could actually mess up people's energy systems. In 1994, after years of 'singing' only in private, I got the go ahead to sing publicly, and did so in the caves of South Dakota. I was told later that, while I sang, I pulled in the energy of the entire Black Hills Cave system!
	From 1994 on, I occasionally 'sang' at certain sites while with the spiritual group. Sometimes, such as in China, where we were under close scrutiny by the Chinese press, I did not dare. Like the rest of my companions, however, I was able to store the energy and 'sounds' of the places we visited in my body. It's not as intense as being there physically, but the energy is still there. Since I have attended the Monroe Institute, I have added a name to this process of storing energy and information. The late Bob Monroe called them rotes.
	This summer, I finally had the chance to record some of the sounds from the places I have visited since 1990. They begin with a channeled message from the place, or one I added later (such as Egypt and Venezuela, which are 2005 products dictated in Minneapolis Minnesota).
	When the CD first came out, I had some friends review it. One friend, who is not into psychic awareness, but who is into music, told me she felt the words and sounds from the CD were relaxing. Another, who were on many of the same pilgrimages, said my CD "sent her back to those places".
	I have created a one minute clip of my visit to a Japanese temple garden in the summer of 1997. As you listen, please be aware that I have a 10 word vocabulary in Japanese, and very little exposure to the culture. Last October, I asked a friend from Japan to review this clip. His comment was that he felt it was very ancient Japanese which he would actually need to write down and translate, and the pictures he received from the clip was of an traditional Japanese Wedding Ceremony.
