CD'S NOW AVAILABLE!!   (Photo of CD is at the bottom of the page)

Internet price is $12 for the CD, $3 for shipping and handling;

if you are local, and wish to pick one up at the office,  the price is $10.

From 1990 through 2002, I participated in pilgrimages to sacred sites all around the world.  At some of the sites I was able to add my song; more commonly, I pulled in the sound either by rote (stored data) and/or by dictating a message from the energies of those sites.  This CD is a combination of the dictated message and the sounds I 'pulled out' from those places.

I called the sounds the EKtavasi, a blend of emotional and spiritual energies that seem to both energize and calm those who listen.  The following are the English equivalent dictations that go along with the sounds:

1. A Redwood Grove  Northern California (November 1994)

To ‘interview’ the trees, I joined a group of psychic101 students on their trip to the Redwoods.  This felt the most poignant of the series dictated to me:

In an ancient forest by another sea you stood like today, reaching to touch.

Each had a totem, then an uncarved tree which fostered you through life.

We knew you then.

Within each of you is still your personal totem.

If you look deep within, you will know it and reaccess great wisdom.

2. The Himalayas – Bhutan 11,800 feet above sea level (October 2000).

Bhutan is a small country between India and China and smack dab in the Himalayans.  We did a number of field trips, one of them where one could see nothing but mountaintops when we once got to the top of where we climbed.

Mystic callings sing from every rock, swelling into a chorus of joy and welcome.

If you listen hard, you can hear them touch the universe,

 And  etheric chorales sing back.

3. The Gobi Desert Mongolia (July 1997)

The Gobi was part of a 3 week trip by train, plane and bus p  to China , Mongolia and Russia Siberia .   I like this dictation from the Gobi the best.  The sounds are from all 5 days we spent in the desert.  Notice how the sounds change.

I am a part of the desert,

Like a speck of sand blown by the ever present wind,

Willy nilly at times

But with a purpose that is all containing

within its fold.

 4. Syria   Basra – by the Nabatean Columns  April 1996

All of us  had been apprehensive about going to Syria for a day’s trip there.  Not only did we need to get a special passport with no Israeli stamps, we had heard stories that American females were not treated well there, and getting out of the country could be a problem.  This was not the case for us.  Other than the street vendors being a little pushy no one bothered us. And we cleared customs out of the country without any problems.

A dance of wills are a mainstay in this place, once a holy of holies, not so much in the memory of

not so modern man, but in the antiquity that preceded it.

Blood has cost it some of its sacredness; inner peace can restore it.

5. Qumran , Israel , in a cave by the Dead Sea (April 1996)

Qumran – the ruins of the Essenes, I visited twice, once in 1993 and again in 1996.  The second time,  I was drawn to a cave about a hundred feet or so uphill from the ruins.  There, I dictated the following, and spent a little time sounding in the cave.

They came to the cave one after another, holding shining orbs of light, unlike anything man knows of at this time.

And they stood together to sing.  The lights in their hands converged, and the cave glowed like day, or even brighter.

And in this sound and light came the sounds of brethren from the far-reaching stars, not so much physical, but in their hearts and minds…

And it kept them from feeling so alone, though some have forgotten its source, and called it by a different name.

6. Jordan – By ancient ruins (April 1995)

My favorite spot in Jordan was Petra , but I didn’t like the dictation there as much as this one I did by some ancient ruins in another part of the country:

Deep in the heart of the ancient city burned a flame which took no fuel

It was sustained by the will of men – a twofold process that gave the flame life and the men heat.

The flame, though flickering and low, still exists in the most men’s hearts.

If you seek it diligently, you may find it.

7. South Dakota – in a cave (October, 1994)

My debut to public chanting (after a 15 year hiatus) was in the Black Hills , in a cave.  I was told later that I channeled the energy of the entire cave system.  I don’t know how much I retained in my body, but I was able to bring back some of the sounds.

Recall the times when chanters sought the high places in the chambers to blend with the energies that cured, killed and nurtured life.

And try to be part of that again, not as yesterday, but (as) today.

8. Narita Japan – In a temple garden June 1997

Japan was a lucky accident.  On our way to Beijing , we were diverted for a day to Japan , and spent the night outside Narita in a Hilton, compliments of Northwest Airlines.  As we could not get a plane to China until the afternoon, we were able to get a tour of the Japanese temple grounds in the morning.

We fly with the wings of a dragon

to worlds within and worlds without

And leave footsteps for others to follow.

If you seek with an open heart,

They will seek you and lead you to

expanded possibilities of self within knowingness.

9. Shaman Island , Lake Baikal , Russia July 1997

Lake Baikal in Siberia is the largest lake in the world -  not in area, but it is so deep,  it holds more water than Lake Superior .  It has long been considered a sacred site. We took a quick dip in its waters - even in early July, they were frigid!

Old fires sing along a path leaving its(their) track

in the ancient crystals that shine in the sun.

They (the crystals) have their own song,

different from(that of) the fires themselves of both today and yesterday

10. Ground Zero World Trade Center New York City Sept 21 2001

Our trek to NYC was purely for soul rescue.   Souls, both living and dead, worked with the victims of this tragedy from afar. Those souls whose bodies were pulverized, however, needed special work.  About fourteen of us dropped everything to fly to New York and help ‘hold the energy’ for our nonphysical helpers so that those still stuck there could move on. Incidentally, in case some of you do not see NYC as a sacred site, the native Americans regarded Manhattan Island as such.

Brothers and sisters with different names do not often see each other as siblings…

The name gets in the way.

11. Scotland - Near A Stone Circle Isle of Lewis (July 2002)

I visited to Scotland twice.  The second time, I and others found ourselves walking through peat bogs.  And, in my mind’s eye, I could see myself walking through gorgeous Marble hallways that existed thousands of years before where the peat bogs now stand. (See CD cover):

Dignity of purposes shone upon a sacred plain, glowing in preciousness, overflowing in wisdom.

Today, its(their) essence flows from other realms, sweetening the peat bogs and the pastures.

12. China – in a field outside Xian (July 1997)

All through China , Chinese ‘journalists’, watched our every move, photographed us wherever we went.  For this reason, I dared not make any sounds in that country.  I did pull in sounds, but notice the take is very short.   The energy there was harder.  Lack of freedom takes its toll:

Tulips do not grow where cactus flourish;

Know within where the cactus can survive –

Where the tulips grow,

And do not confuse them.

It is a common error of humankind.

13. Venezuela – in a rain forest

In 1991, I spent two weeks in Venezuela , one week in the rain forest, and the other by the Columbian border. As I did not do dictation while traveling before 1993, the dictation is from July 2005:

Our world can be a flood of cascading waterfalls,

creating rainbows that dance in the sun,

Or a desert, where when it does rain, it pours, and yet very little life can grow.

It is a matter of choice, not only for the individual, but for all of humanity.

14. Egypt Cairo ( Giza plateau) – by the Great Pyramid and the Sphinx February 1990

Eqypt was my first trip out of the country.  Though I was much too shy at that time to do my EKtavasi in public, I managed to find a private spot behind a pyramid to belt out my sounds.  Again, the dictation is from July 2005:

Misunderstood megaliths of a forgotten age

Sit beneath the twinkling stars,

Which descendents of that forgotten age

have forgotten.
